A taco is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded
or rolled around a filling. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including
beef, pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and cheese, allowing for great versatility
and variety.
A tamale is a mesoamerican traditional dish made of masa or dough (starchy, and usually
corn-based), which is steamed in a corn husk or banana leaf. The wrapping is discarded
before eating.
Chilaquiles a traditional Mexican dish. Typically, corn tortillas cut in quarters
and lightly fried are the basis of the dish. Green or red salsa or mole is poured
over the crisp tortilla triangles, called totopos. The mixture is simmered until
the tortilla starts softening.
