“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

This quote is from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" I saw this movie for the first time when I was relatively young, and it was the funniest movie I had ever seen. everything from the jokes to the things that happened had me laughing without end throughout its duration. The above quote specifically stuck with me. Especially as a younger kid. It really helped humble my perspective and helped show me that being young truly is a gift, and a fleeting one and that I should cherish it as long as I can.

"Oh, there's an empty place in my bones, that calls out for something unknown."

This quote is from Jack Skellington from my favorite movie of all time, Tim Burtons "The Nightmare Before Christmas." This movie has been my favorite of all time since i first saw it because the movie Jack Skellingtons issue was so relateable. The whole premise of the movie is Jack trying to find something other than Haloween. He wanted something new, a variety. He got bored of his daily life. Even today I can relate to this. Its nice seeing a movie character thats so easy to relate to. He's "The pumpkin King" of Haloween and yet he still devoted all this time to bring the lighthearted spirit of Christmas into his fear filled world of Halloween Town.

“Power comes in response to a need, not a desire.”

Goku. Where do I start with this one. Ever since I was young, ive always loved everything Dragonball related. The main caracter Goku has always been inspirational. for a show about fighting he really tried his best to end things peacefully, normally refusing to actually kill his enemies explaining to them that he doesnt kill unless absolutely necessary. He spoke the above quote to his son, who was trying to get stronger. He trained daily with goku expressing that he wanted to be stronger, both physically and mentally meaning his will. goku explained to him that the kind of strength he speaks only comes from a need, not a desire. Meaning when you truly need the will you will find it. Teaching him a balance between fun and training. Helped me to understand even when I was really young that there has to be a balance in your life. Showed me that what I want is obtainable no matter what.
