My Goals
I would like to finish ECC with my Associates in Communication Design within 4 years, at most. Then, I hope to go on and start my own freelance design business or maybe create an online sticker shop, since I really love stickers and cute things to personalize my stuff! :)
Where did you go to high school?
I attended Jacobs High School for 2 years, then transferred to Hampshire High School where I graduated in 2021. I transferred because we moved out of the boundary for HDJ.
Do you have brothers or sisters?
I have a sister, Chloe, and two brothers, Dillon and Max. They're all older than me so I'm still the baby even at 20. :,) But we're all pretty close and we like to go to anime conventions together!
Are you the first in your family to go to college?
My parents have some college experience and my siblings have all gone to college and completed their degrees. Chloe graduated from DePaul, Dillon graduated from University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), and Max graduated from here, ECC!
What do you fear about this class (if anything)?
Due to this class being entirely online, I fear that I'll have a hard time keeping up with work. I know that I'm not entirely on my own, but there's still some pressure to manage myself well this semester.
What was your favorite class and why?
My favorite class I've taken in college so far was my Adobe Illustrator class. My teacher organized a lot of unique projects and gave students opportunites to be creative even when given specific guidelines to follow. It was also my first in-person class since quarantine, so it was fun to work with my classmates and make friends again. :)
